Talk:Email - Setting up E-mail clients for SME 8.0

All the detail on setting up the certificates in clients is great, but does still feel like a massive, ugly, and very inconvenient workaround to an underlying problem: self-signed certificates. The Internet security is being bolted down everywhere and it is no longer the Wild West. SME needs to support third party certificates right out of the box - either uploaded through the manager or auto-set through something like let's encrypt. Self-signed just does not cut it any more, except in very sandboxed environments. --Judgej (talk) 14:09, 4 January 2017 (CET)
