If you get already nut running with admin user modification, we need to remove custom template created for administrative privileges for sme8 version. These variables are taken in charge by the new package.

If you get already nut running with admin user modification, we need to remove custom template created for administrative privileges for sme8 version. These variables are taken in charge by the new package.

First we need to delete the custom template file.

  mkdir -p /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/ups/upsd.users

  rm /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/ups/upsd.users

Now, to get upsd to recognise the modification of the user, we expand the template and reload the upsd configuration
