Custom db setting for the compression level of the *.tgz file and hence the speed of the backup can be set from -9 to -1, default is -9.

The compression level of the backup *.tgz file can be altered by the "db configuration setprop backupconsole CompressionLevel=value" this then will decrease or increase the time taken to create the backup.

Regulate the speed of compression using the specified digit n, where `-1' indicates the fastest compression method (less compression) and or `-9' indicates the slowest compression method (optimal compression). The default compression level is `-9' (that is, biased towards high compression at expense of speed).
