Koozali SME Server 10 can be installed on physical or virtual hardware, either on a local virtual host such as Proxmox or Virtual Box, or in a cloud instance.

The installer will generally pick the correct otpions for the install but these can be overwritten if you have another preference, please see the install boot options and the RAID page for more details.

When the installer sees a single disk whether or virtual of physical hardware it will not install any RAID functions for obvious reasons,  but LVM will be selected: on virtual hardware you may prefer to not use LVM depending on your deployment plan. This can be specifed as shown below.
