Last available version for eGroupware is for 1.6 :
yum install eGroupware-mydms --enablerepo=server_eGroupWare
then you will have to edit the mydms setup file
vim /usr/share/egroupware/mydms/setup/setup.inc.php

to
'versions' => Array('1.4','1.5','1.6','1.7','1.8')
then go to web interface to configure your app and update the db.
