cactus has created a standard for contrib pages, thanks. We should make it clear new pages should adopt the same layout, and make it easy with a template

to be decided

1. page name and location

wiki:help:Contrib_page_template

2. instructions to author

Lets be consistent, please adopt this format

3. contrib page template

4. How to enter the repository configuration information. - Cactus 14:07, 12 April 2007 (EDT) I preffer you would use the templates I have made (and create new ones if you need) to be included in the installation documentation for multiple reasons:

a. Changes to repository configuration only have to be made at one place.
b. Installation instructions are automatically included (I still need to develop a template to implement this, instead of putting it in each repository template - done Cactus 14:27, 12 April 2007 (EDT))

You can enter the repository information quite easily by adding the template to your page like this (where Snetram is the name of the repository page)

{{Repository|Snetram}}

This will display on your page like below, between the horizontal lines.

The following command will configure the Snetram repository on SME Server. Snetram After adding it to the database we have to update the changes to the configuration file:

signal-event yum-modify

A list of repoitories can be found in the Category:Yum_Repository.

If you are using multiple languages include the following at the top of your page

{{Languages|Foo}}

Or should this be a permanent part of the template?
