Install Roundup Issue Tracker

1. create ibay(or user?) named roundup
2. download here: roundup downloads
3. install using

python setup.py install

1. create demo tracker

roundup-demo

• • specify user or ibay folder as tracker location, eg:

/home/e-smith/files/ibays/roundup/html/demo

1. change default dir to demo location

cd /home/e-smith/files/ibays/roundup/html/demo

1. edit the demo 'config.ini' to change the port from 8917 to 8080
2. start the built-in roundup/python webserver

sudo -u roundup roundup-server demo=/home/e-smith/files/ibays/roundup/html/demo

1. create a custom proxypass directive for /roundup:

md -p /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
cd /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
echo '# ProxyPass Support for Internal Exchange Server
       ProxyPreserveHost On

       #roundup
       ProxyPass /roundup/ http://localhost:8080/
       ProxyPassReverse /roundup/ http://localhost:8080/

1. End of Exchange settings

1. expand httpd.conf and restart httpd

expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
sv restart httpd-e-smith

Still todo:

1. configure roundup server to auto-start
2. configure roundup server to log to /var/log/(somewhere)
3. possibly integrate access with SME user database
4. possibly integrate with mysql
