Using the FileBrowser App from http://www.stratospherix.com/products/filebrowser/ and the App store you can access, copy and stream files from remote computers including Windows, Mac, and Network (NAS) drives - and SME Server.

It access samba through port 445 for file sharing - so you need to (re)enable 445 for Samba on your SME Server

So from a Shell:

i.  config setprop smb SMBPorts 139,445
ii. signal-event ibay-modify

Then Connect from the Filebrowser App. You can also get Apples Numbers App and edit files directly
