- create a smeserver-sane with the templates: I don't have a lot of time at present
- If I have a little of time...
- I must finish the installation of mgetty / vgetty for SME before
good work so far, I'm dusting off my old scanner...
- What Manufacturer and Model?
- found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [Hewlett-Packard], product=0x0305 [Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 4300C]) at libusb:002:003
- Did you use my rpm or that of centos?
- I understand now, you compiled a later version 1.0.17
- centos has 1.0.14-6, sorry, I'll reopen the bug if you like
- I have rpms in shad's list of things to do, it's just a bottle neck that we have to be patient with
- http://buildsys.contribs.org/plague/failed.psp, and it is a lot of work new rpms almost always fail
- when .17 is working we can update to sane .19
- when in smecontribs it will build for sme8 as well(when sme is ready for contrib testing)
- I delete my src rpm when you closed the first time
- I thought that you had recovered my src rpm
- I don't have place on my server (disk = 4 go)
- If it really interests you, I can put it again. But it is necessary to recover it fast.
- src rpm and rpm => http://sme-mirror.voxteneo.com/contribs/jppialasse/SME7/ecureuil-sane-backends/
- I make smeserver-sane with jppialasse
- I test tomorrow. It is 1 am in France ;)

Re: buildsys
If your builds fails on the buildsystem you most likely did not do a test build on your local system, you can easily do so by issuing this command:
make local
before instructing the build systen to start the build using
make build
BTW Please sign your comments (using four tildes (~) and try to use (one level of) indent for follow-ups as your answers above are a bit hard to read. - Cactus 05:43, 6 April 2008 (MDT)
