I notice in the Virus scan section that the following is shown as valid:

config setprop clamav FilesystemScanFilesystems /home/e-smith/files,/opt

I don't believe this to be true. I think the way the smeserver-clamscan script is written, clam will only accept a single file or directory entry.

try it and see, then fix it

config setprop clamav FilesystemScanFilesystems /long/path/dir1,/long/path/dir2

I could and may do so but the way the script and FAQ was written it looked like the author of smeserver-clamscan may have intended it to work this way. Perhaps I should raise a bug instead if it doesn't work to get closure from the dev team on design intent? --[[User:Christian|Christian]] 13:29, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

We've confirmed it can work but the error is in the FAQ example. I've corrected it. --[[User:Christian|Christian]] 00:35, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Can we keep these FAQ's not RarelyAQ's

eg Changing maximum Ibay, Account or Group name length
while this is interesting, I've never heard any ask about it
maybe these type of questions can go into a big list of db settings, there are a few pages like this

Please keep the FAQ simple

Please, try not to make the FAQ to complicated like adding database keys to the repositories, such things should be listed somewhere else, for instance on the pages containing the database parameters and settings. The FAQ should just as Snoble says contain frequently asked questions, although I do not want to be the judge of when a question is considered frequently asked.

I therefore reverted this change. — Cactus (talk | contribs 09:50, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Outdated links to SF bug tracker

There are some links pointing to the old bug tracker at sourceforge. Jonathan already told me that the bugs have been imported to bugzilla but I can't find these particular bugs:

1234009 (Client Computers)

1275351 (Web Applications)

1228269 (Password Strength Checking)

1314168 (Error Messages; There's a duplicate in bugzilla:2126)

Is there some way this section could be better organized? Alphabetized under subject perhaps? The FAQ section seems to be getting quite large. --Uniqsys 21:05, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
