smeserver-mod_dav
Michael, please would you adhere to the common modus operandus and report feature requests and suggestions in the bug tracker against the contrib instead of modifying and suggesting improvements to users on the talk page? This creates a situation that is hard to diagnose and track and is error prone. — Cactus (talk | contribs) 21:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, of course, I see your point.
- [self justification]
- My objective was to document the changes I made to how 95Addmod_dav2ibays modifies httpd.conf while they were fresh in my mind, in a way that would allow me to simply copy & paste them to the contrib page if/when the changes are added to the contrib.
- [/self justification>]
- Do you think I should move the talk:smeserver-mod_dav content here to my talk page, or should I get it off of the SME wiki altogether?
- I think getting it of the DAV talk pages would be a good start. Furthermore I see no need in using the wiki if you are documenting for yourself. You can easily paste from a text document into your browser as well when editing the wiki.
- Please raise desired changes to the contrib in the bugtracker as that is where we document code changes and fixes, I am not looking at talk pages to find modifications/fixes a user would like implemented.
