[[User:Relayer|Relayer]] ([[User talk:Relayer|talk]]) 00:33, 20 February 2013 (MST) This does work on SME8 but requires updating to reflect changes to the Fedora "Authentication Configuration" dialogue box (tested on Fedora 15). The modifications to smb.conf will probably need updating as well before it will work with current version of Fedora (F18). I will have a look and work on it.

@RequestedDeletion. Both are true but you misunderstood the original therefore I have re-written it for clarification. Why have you changed the yum install command? sudo is not needed as I have already instructed the use of su for root user access earlier on the page. I have not see / used before between package names - does it work, I have not tried it?

@relayer. I removed the sudo command. The usage of \ is to create visual line wrap to limit the lengthy line. The contents of the line itself will not be effected. See the repo pages as an example (e.g. [[epel]]). Thx.

@RequestedDeletion. Both are true but you misunderstood the original therefore I have re-written it for clarification. Why have you changed the yum install command? sudo is not needed as I have already instructed the use of su for root user access earlier on the page. I have not see / used before between package names - does it work, I have not tried it?
