Trex 19:18, 21 January 2013 (MST)

Selling points and/or reviews
Based on this forum thread I started creating the SellingPoints page. Perhaps it is worth linking it from the Main_Page or even better incorporating some in it as this now is the main page for SME Server? - Cactus 04:13, 16 September 2007 (MDT)

I agree, but i don't like the page name<br>

lets place the information in http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:About

and add a new link in the side bar between Main Page and Documentation, :About

:I have overwritten the SME_Server:About page according to Snoble's remark, as the information in the old SME_Server:About page was not worth saving. I also deleted the redirect from SellingPoints that was automatically created by the move. Snoble, do you have permission to modify the side bar or should we raise a bug for that? I personally think that it might be better of on a more prominent place on the Main_Page, perhaps just before the Documentation section or just after that and just in front of the support section. - Cactus 05:00, 17 September 2007 (MDT)

After April upgrade warning
Snoble I think we should keep the after April upgrade warning on the main page as well as a lot off questions have been asked about this in the forums, I expect more to come, although most users might have updated. <small>—&nbsp;Cactus (talk&nbsp;|&nbsp;contribs)&nbsp;</small> 13:02, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Convenient link to Contribs section
Could we place a link to the Contribs page in the left 'wiki" box just under Documentation?  It might be helpful for browsing the documentation/contribs instead of always having to come back to the main page to get to contribs. We have one for the Constitution and I would wager that more people would like to access Contribs more often than the Constitution.  A similar argument might also be made for HOW TO's. - Uniqsys 00:04, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

New Main Page
Following discussion in the forums and raising of bug 5912, the main page can be replaced by my new design. I can't edit the current main page however as it is locked. Can someone copy and paste the code or give me access.

Also, the current News item on localisation is out of date now. Perhaps it could be replaced with an announcement of the new page.

Replacement also needs to be followed up with new translations - who and how to notify for this? Timn 20:42, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
