RoundCube for SME 7.x

Maintainer

Dungog.net (Software)

Description

RoundCube Webmail is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface. It provides full functionality you expect from an e-mail client, including MIME support, address book, folder manipulation, message searching and spell checking. For more information see http://www.roundcube.net/. Actually roundcube is only available with beta-status and without some wishful extras, but it run very fast and stable.

Download

You need the packages roundcube and smeserver-roundcube. You can download the packages at http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smedev/i386/RPMS/ roundcube and smeserver roundcube

Optionally install from the dungog repo

The following command will configure the Dungog repository on SME Server. The dungog repository will no longer be updated. All the contribs from this repository have been moved to the smecontribs repository.

DungogMember contribs are still at http://www.dungog.net After adding it to the database we have to update the changes to the configuration file:

signal-event yum-modify

For installation just hit the following command

yum enablerepo=dungog install roundcube smeserver-roundcube

For uninstall just hit the following command

yum remove roundcube smeserver-roundcube

You can ignore the yum-comments signal event post-upgrade and signal-event reboot.

For using roundcube start your browser with the URL http://servername/roundcube and logon with your user account.
