Sourcecode highlihting is a tool for explaining and reading sourcecode as a programmer, as the Wiki mainly is ment as a documentation system, I do not see any use for syntax highlighting in this Wiki. IMHO syntax highlighting should be kept to a minimum (especially in this Wiki). I think it is not relevant to use syntax highlighting as not much scripts are (to be) used in this Wiki. - [[User:Cactus|Cactus]] 02:46, 25 April 2007 (EDT) | Sourcecode highlihting is a tool for explaining and reading sourcecode as a programmer, as the Wiki mainly is ment as a documentation system, I do not see any use for syntax highlighting in this Wiki. Is there a way to add PHP, Shell, Perl and Python templates like MythTV? And syntax highlighting (colorizing)?
Some links: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
I use in my wiki test the link 4 4
You can see the great results at:

The good news is not necesary to add extra space at the begining of line when write the code into "<source>" tags.
