I'm a technician working for Firewall Services, a company located in France (Bordeaux). Our main business is selling and maintaining SME Server based servers, with several contributions developed by ourself and by the community. We've called our bundle iPasserelle
Contributions
I maintain some contributions for SME Server, including:
- Coova Chilli a captive portal solution
- FreePBX, a powerful web front-end for Asterisk
- OpenVPN Bridge, an OpenVPN based solution for roadwariors
- OpenVPN site to site, an OpenVPN based solution for site to site inter-connection
- PHPki, a certificate management software
- Zabbix, a powerful, yet quite intuitive monitoring solution
- Bridge Interface, a tool to create a bridged interface on your server
- BackupPC, a complete and flexible backup solution
- Arpwatch, a tool to monitor the arp activity of your network
- Shared Folders, a module to create flexible network shares
- Sme7admin, a simple monitoring software (I'm not the original author)
- LemonLDAP-NG, a powerful WebSSO framework
- OpenUpload, a PHP application to share files, like MegaUpload or RapidShare
Ideas of new contribs
The following contribs are just ideas for the future. I've started working on some, but don't expect a quick release.
- CloudVPN, a full mesh VPN software
- HAVP, an HTTP AntiVirus Proxy
- privoxy, an HTTP proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for enhancing privacy
- tor, a socks proxy which bounces your communications around a distributed network of relays
- QEMU/KVM Virtual machine (KVM will be available for SME8 as it's based on CentOS 5.X)
